At ecom consuling, managers with experience advise, and we want to be completely honest here: experience also or especially means having made mistakes yourself. Prof. Dr. Christian Stummeyer is an experienced management consultant and has worked for globally operating corporations. He himself is a successful founder and e-commerce entrepreneur and advises large and medium-sized companies on the topics of e-commerce, sales processes, digital strategy and digital transformation. After working as a strategy consultant for The Boston Consulting Group and in the international management circle of Siemens AG, Prof, Dr. Christian Stummeyer has been an e-commerce entrepreneur himself since 2009 and played a decisive role in shaping the growth strategy of an online retailer of premium designer furniture that is still a leading player in the DACH region today.
After joining the advisory board of the e-commerce company, he was managing director of the UDG United Digital Group, the largest German digital agency, where he was responsible for the group’s entire management consulting business. Since winter semester 2016/17, Prof. Dr. Christian Stummeyer has held the professorship “Business Informatics and Digital Commerce” at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences.

Since 2014, Sascha Postel has been working as a freelance consultant for a wide range of companies in the fashion, lifestyle, food and nutritional supplements industry. As founder and managing partner of mzentrale GmbH & Co KG, he has been gaining extensive experience in the conception and implementation of e-commerce projects (e.g. Bogner, mytheresa, Artdeco, Ludwig Beck, Braun Hamburg, Versandhaus Walz) since 2001.

Since 1998 Timo Koch has been working in international logistics consulting in the field of warehouse planning and became self-employed in this field in 2004. His management consultancy, based in Berlin, is mainly concerned with the topics of tendering warehouses and transports as well as warehouse planning and optimization.

Florian von Loebenstein has been at home in the media world (online, TV) for over 18 years. The media marketing specialist worked for ProSiebenSat.1Media AG for many years. After his MBA in Media Management, he founded several startups, including the GolfNetworkClub.com and Heimatprodukte GmbH. Since 2007, as owner of T.I.M.E. connect, he has been working as a consultant in business development, innovation, digital transformation and marketing. Johanna Münch has been working in the field of e-commerce and multichannel as a project manager and consultant for more than 10 years. 5 years after her studies in business administration she worked as a project manager for fulfilment service providers, including Dohmen Solutions (now Docdata) and JCL eCommerce. She is very familiar with the interplay of service providers, systems and processes, as she managed all projects from the quotation phase to the Go Live, controlling project-relevant areas such as merchandise management, IT, CRM, accounts receivable and customer service. Afterwards she deepened her experience in the field of online marketing / social media as a consultant at the online agency Saint Elmo`s in Munich.

From 2001 to 2016, as managing director and shareholder, Martin Sperling played a decisive role in the development of the e-commerce agency VOTUM in Berlin from a small 2-man business to an agency with over 70 employees. Martin Gaubitz has been active in e-commerce and online marketing for almost 15 years. From 2006 to 2015 he was a manager in one of the first performance marketing agencies in Germany. He then moved into industry at J. Schmalz GmbH, market leader for automation with vacuum and ergonomic handling systems. There, as Head of E-Commerce & Online Marketing until September 2019, he was responsible for international sales growth and the development of structures and processes in the e-commerce sector.
Since 2017, he has been advising medium-sized companies in the development and definition of strategies, structures and know-how in the areas of e-commerce and online marketing. As a lecturer at Pforzheim University and the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, he has also been teaching students in online marketing and web analysis since 2013.
